In my high school art class we were working on 2 point perspectives. My teacher assigned us to do a project using 2 point perspective to create a city with at least 10 buildings. In my city I included a hotel, Kate spade outlet, Luigis Pizza, The Disney Store, and F.A.O Schwarz.. I was inspired to create these building in my city because I love Kate Spade purses, Pizza, I’ve always been a fan of anything Disney, and F.A.O Schwarz was the highlight of my trip to New York. If you look to the left side of my piece you will find a huge clock on the side of a building I was inspired to do that because I when I took my trip to New York City I remember seeing these beautiful clocks on the sides of tall buildings.
I created this piece by using a ruler to create my horizon line and then I drew my kite as my art teacher would say. I created the buildings by making horizontal lines and drawing them to whichever point they would meet correctly. Then after the finished drawing out all the buildings I needed I started adding details with my pencil to create the outside of the buildings. Creating signs and things to go on the building could be a little tricky but by using a ruler you could easily get them into perspective.
NYC
On a large piece of black paper I was told I had to draw some type of reflection using a white colored pencil. I thought about it and thought about it until I came up with the idea that I would have my mom put on a pair of sunglasses and i would hold my dog up so that you could see us in the reflection. I was inspired to do this because my mom is a person that means a lot to me and she’s so beautiful who wouldn’t want her in their art work. I was inspired to use my puppy as the reflection because he is just so cute it’s crazy.
To create this piece I used a white colored pencil on a large black piece of paper. Coloring lightly in the light places with the pencil and dark in the places that needed more white. This piece was a little tricky for me but I think it turned out alright.

Elements and Principles of Art
This piece of art was assigned so that me and my fellow classmates could learn how to use the Elements and Principles of art. I was inspired to pick a flower because I’ve always been able to draw flowers well and I’ve always loved to look at wild flowers growing in my yard.
I created this project by drawing out a flower on a piece of paper, cutting it out, and tracing it over and over on a piece of poster board paper. Then using colored pencils I created each Element and Principle.
Colorful Elephants
I was inspired to create these beautiful elephants because I love elephants. This piece had to be created using expressionism and I thought what better expression is there then love. I think that the bright colors and the flowers really shows what kind of person I am bright, loving, and just a fun person to be around.
I created this painting by using tempera paint and variety of different paint brushes. Expressionism includes bold colors and bold strokes. Using many different colors and very many layers I created these bold beautiful elephants.
Watercolor Painting
Kanaloa Tiki god
I was inspired to create Hitchcock create with watercolor paints because I think that Hitchcock is one of the prettiest places in Rockingham. Fall is one of my most favorite times of the year and when I was creating this piece the leaves had changed colors and it was just so beautiful.
Using my phone’s camera I captured a picture of Hitchcock and used watercolor paint to create the trees and the old abandoned building just like the the image. Adding many layers I was able to create the old abandoned building. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to finish all the trees and details that needed to be included.
I chose to create the tiki god kanaloa because he is known as the god of the sea. I’ve always been one to love to go the beach and just soak up the sun and that’s why i was inspired to create kanaloa.
To create this tiki god I has to roll out clay and sculpt it to make it look the god of the sea. I used many different tools to create designs such as fish scales, seaweed, and some bubbles. Using my hands I made 3 coils to make it look like my god had squid like dreadlocks. This was one of my harder pieces of art but I think it turned out pretty good.
Portrait Drawing
I was inspired to do this portrait because the girl in the picture I was drawing was so beautiful and had such a fierce look on her face I figured it would be fun and interesting to try and draw!
I created this piece by mapping out, adding details to the face, and shading any places with my pencil.
